Refund Policy

At Byrd Bound Bindery & Leather Shop, every project is approached with careful attention to detail, craftsmanship, and planning. Because our work is highly customized and often made-to-order, we ask that all customers review the following refund policy before placing an order.

Deposits

When you place an order for a custom project, a deposit is required to secure your spot on our schedule. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Deposits not only reserve your place in our production queue but also allow us to begin ordering and preparing the materials necessary for your project.

Full Payments for Custom Work

If you choose to pay for your project in full at the time of order:

  • A partial refund may be considered only if no work has yet begun on your project. This includes design work, material cutting, or any stage of the binding process.

  • Once work has started, whether in material preparation or in the bindery process, no refunds will be issued. Each project is unique, requiring significant time and resources, which cannot be recovered once the process has begun.

Premade Bibles & Ready-Made Products

All sales of premade or ready-made Bibles are final. We strongly encourage you to carefully read the product descriptions, review all photos provided, and reach out to us with any questions before making your purchase. Since these items are completed works, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted once the purchase is made.

Damages or Issues

If you receive a product that is damaged during shipping or if there are concerns with the quality of workmanship, please contact us immediately. While refunds may not be possible, we will work with you to resolve the issue fairly. Each situation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
